A Free Orientation to the 8 Week Course
We invite you to meet Nancy Bennett and learn what mindfulness is and how it might help change your life. In this 1.5 hour workshop, you will have an opportunity to experience a series of mindful exercises and practices with opportunities for discussion to see if MBSR might just be what you are looking for. The full course begins February 1, 2020.
Attendance at one Orientation to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a prerequisite for participation in the full MBSR course. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week, evidence-based course developed and studied by Jon Kabat-Zinn and researchers at the UMASS Medical Center for Mindfulness. It has been shown to lower stress, boost immune response, and bring relief and joy to people with a variety of physical and psychological conditions.
