Yoga for Anxiety
Sarah Memoli, LMHC, RYT will resume offering Yoga for Anxiety classes at heal (v.) studio with the next 8-week session beginning the week of July 12. Classes are designed to provide holistic treatment for individuals struggling with anxiety. Each 90-minute yoga class will incorporate psychological interventions, breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness training for a healing, relaxing and restorative experience.
Discover the power of using the breath to calm an overactive nervous system. Learn to be present in the moment and in the body. Recognize triggers that create anxiety spirals. Gain control over intrusive thoughts. Prevent panic attacks naturally. Unblock and release chronic physical holding of stress and anxiety in the body. Develop a solid understanding of how and why to utilize specific yoga poses and sequences to improve mental health.
Classes will run in small, stable groups and adhere to all mandatory safety protocols to practice yoga without a mask during Phase II Reopening.
