Chair 5 Restaurant in Narragansett Becomes Vegan Friendly

Chair 5, located in the Break Hotel, in Narragansett, has joined with the Vegan Awareness Council to participate in the Vegan Chef Challenge during the month of April with a special supplemental vegan menu which will be available all April long. Chef Brian Busse has added a number of vegan items to its menu to give vegan guests plenty of dining options for appetizers, main dishes and even desserts.

A plant-based vegan diet can reduce the risk of mortality from conditions such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, ischemic heart disease, hypertension, stroke and obesity. Vegan diets can be healthy for anyone of any age, including children, pregnant and lactating women, and the elderly. It’s important to note that vegans need to pay special attention to their diets to avoid specific nutrient deficiencies.
