Personal wellness chef, Haley Pollock, is ready to solve the “what’s for dinner” dilemma. She belongs to the United States Personal Chef Association, holds her B.S. in nutritional and food science from University of Connecticut, as well as her A.S. in baking and pastry arts from Johnson & Wales University.
“Before starting The Holistic Trick, a personal wellness chef service, I was the typical stressed out, time-starved career person. I loved nutrition and I loved to cook, but was often too pooped after a day’s work to even pick up my chef’s knife,” Pollock says. Realizing this modern-day conundrum, she decided to follow her dreams and make a career change. After personal chef training at the Culinary Business Institute, she started her business.
Pollock offers free consultations to help folks decide if her services meet their needs. Together, a detailed food and diet questionnaire will be completed. This helps her understand the missing pieces to a healthy relationship with food and what she can do to bridge those gaps. Whether it be a long-term customized meal service, pantry make-over, educational session at the market, or coaching services, Pollock wants to help people start eating for wellness.
